yes... But it's not as high as first expected... I did not know that there were 13 month in a Cyprus year I calculated with 12 so its only 2300...

If you do not have expenses like large loans for houses, etc., then on £2,500 you will live comfortably and save money too.

For whatever you need, shop around. Shops have started to realise that they can't charge whatever they want and are actually bringing reasonably priced things.

2500 pounds is about 4500 Euro. Almost as much as I make every week.

Yeah right! Anybody know how much kindergarden teachers r payed? And how many hours a week they work? In public schools that is. I want to know to compare with how things r here in Greece..

I think to work in public school you will have to wait for ages. There are huge lists with people waiting. The salary should start from about 600 pounds or so.

You can't live for that money. I've got the same offer. After tax, school fees, car rental and housing I would not have more that 170 CYP left per month. In Cyprus air there is a lot of engineers that might get sacked and they will not work for that money either. I think the company is going to give a better offer if you wait. That's what I'm going to do.
