:shock: There is a country that cars are more expensive? I said that Cyprus is cheaper on average but I believed cars to be one of the exceptions!

well I'm planning to go back twice a month ! but it's on rebated air tickets that don't cost a lot more than a GatwickExpress ticket.
In DK the salaries are higher, but taxes are also more than 50%

As has been said, on CY£2500 a month you'll live very well :D , the cost of living has risen but you'll still be doing well on that wage all the year, couple of points;

A new Nissan Micra starts at about CY£6900, a BMW116 about CY£16000, if you go for big engined luxury cars expect to pay crazy prices, a BMW645 convertable is CY£110,000 :shock:

If you're a motorcyclist this place is heaven 8) , although a new Honda Blackbird will cost about CY£9200, BMW R1200GS about CY£9000.

If you're prepared to live outside the big cities you'll get cheaper rentals, a 2 bedroom apartment in Paralimni is around CY£180pm, a villa with pool around CY£350-400.

2500!!!! Holy *rap. My wife is a specialist nurse, educated to degree level, with lots of experience and extra qualifications. She earns 640 a month.
