We don't accept that somebody did. That is a fraudulent argument, I am afraid, because you are stating the predicate you wish to obtain as the subject. Prove that it must have been created by somebody.

Even if “nothingness” created the universe my friend then please bow down to that “nothingness” and call it God!

There is no getting away from it because it only comes down to LABELS!

I find that unbelievable!!! :?

What more do you want to see??? :?

If an infinite magic show of galaxies, solar systems, planets and stars, is not good enough for you to acknowledge its creator then there is nothing that can ever satisfy you!

It’s a shame some of you would need to get slapped (HURT) by God to believe it! :(

You are saying that had God, in his infinite wisdom, chosen to create a less elaborate universe, you would be less likely to believe in him?

You find it unbelievable because you have closed your mind to the endless possibilities which do not involve divine intervention.

You feel threatened because your viewpoint is legitimately and rationally challenged!

What endless possibilities? You can only give it an infinite number of LABELS if you wish, but the magician will still be the same and worthy of our respect.

There is no magician just because you and some priests say so.

I don't know how I would react in that eventuality but I'm very impressed with this one! :D

Let us conjure up names (Labels) for God…

1. Nothingness
2. Void
3. Non-matter
4. Mr Invisible
5. Mr no name
6. Bang
7. Big-bang
8. Little-bang
9. Loud-bang.

Pick anyone… it all leads to the same thing… that’s God!

You see, no matter what rational science comes up with you will always change the goal posts by twisting, weaving and manipulating the science.

You change the goal posts whilst mankind searches for clues and explores the universe for the facts.

Feel free to call God “celestial science” or “universal science”… who gives a shit!

Eventually, if you ever manage to pinpoint to it (whatever it may be) you will have to bow down to it and that’s all that matters!

Now do you see why it's pointless if the argument is all about the correct "label" being applied?

There is no getting away from it because it only comes down to LABELS!

There is no escape… call it a gas, call it an atom, call it a particle… you must admit it’s a VERY POWERFUL one and worthy of our respect!

Tim, in the old days over 90% of the population in Cyprus believed in God. Today, nearly 100% are baptized but if you ask the general populace only about 50% believe in Gid today with the remainder being Atheist or Agnostic.

...churches, religions, are political. a believer in God is not defined by them unless they choose to commit (read: submit) to a Creed. these institutions, in that sense cause homelessness, an un-Godliness which makes anyone of them unsuitable for those who take a narrow path toward their return to wherever they come from. it's not God one rejects because of this Humanity, all the more reason to recognise the existence of something far more powerful than so-called reason(s), Love exists.
