Christianity Basics 101:

Humans place a lot of value on life here on Earth because that’s all they know but according to the bible God has other ideas and considers our Earthly mortal presence a temporary test so that we may be evaluated for a superior immortal afterlife.

You have never touched the bible have you Milti?

Buddhist say the same thing and so do Muslims ...

I don’t know much about Buddhism but a lot of Islam is a direct copy from the bible so I'm not surprised.

Humanity is now landing space vehicles on comets travelling at 45,000 m/sec so speak for yourself little man!

The muslims are just even more deluded than you are which is why they like to chop heads off. They were just doing the same as your kind in Medieval Times!

Paphitis, humans can create space vehicles, etc. only because God created the universe (including humans) in the first place.

Wow the false premises are thick and fast on CF.

What is your evidence and who created this creator of yours?

And the bible is an addendum to the Jew Old Testament

I have read the Bible, many times, some of may recall my mentioning that I spent 2 years of my life in an orphanage, religion was the order of the day, besides I have an inquisitive mind and wanted to know why God created blue bottles, flies, poisonous snakes, vermin and generally other "creations" detrimental to humanity. Science answered my questions, it also answered my question as to why God demolished my village killing my mother, science answered that too, all the priest said to me was " thelima Theou yie mou".

All of us have logic, some a little, some a bit more. My logic and common sense tells me that there is no creator, after all who would create such a complex universe, the moon, the sun, the stars, summers and winters and yet add mice and rats to his creations. " Rats have been enjoying a close relationship with humans for hundreds, if not thousands, of years. Humans derive no benefits from having rats around, but rats get all sorts of perks. Most notably: food, shelter and water. Often this has little effect, but in some cases, rats go too far, and their impact on human populations becomes unbearable "

...i remember a friend of mine from university who went off after graduating got married and became a rabbi. we met many years later, when AIDS was a current topic, he said that it was God's will and that the scourge where it appeared had with it a Judgement, people who got this disease deserve it. God gave us reason as well was my reply, reason enough to fight against such an enemy, and to find its cure.

Yes, if you believe in an almighty God whose purpose cannot be challenged, then everything that happens is God's will, including the existence of atheists.

For me at least the question as a creator is very simple.

I have asked this question many times and have said that if a satisfactory and logical explanation is given, I will repent and join the righteous ones but not the ...jihadis.

Why wre mosquitoes that kill more than a million people a year were created. Anyone knows the answer ?

If someone knows then parhaps he would also explain the reason of the creation of...katsarides !!

To maintain a balance in the eco system and nature.

And in the process kill a million people a year in mostly impoverished nations. Some god, some creator !
