In Kenya, in the recent massacre, religion was the deciding factor in determining who lived and who was murdered.
Boko Haram enter a village killing and beheading dozens of innocent villagers. They say that their god tells them to kill non believers.
A quick search will also reveal that there is not one single group of non believers listed as a terrorist group. Yes there are criminal gangs not affiliated to religion, these gangs are just pure evil individuals committing horrific crimes in their lust for money.
Religion, the world over, has contributed NOTHING to world peace, has divided people, instilled fear and hatred, kept people in the dark ages.
That may be the case, 99% of terrorist groups may be religious, but are 99% of religious groups terrorists?
The PKK are not a religious group and they are down as terrorists.
The IRA was down as terrorist's but not religious.
out of the equation.
What has killed more people, religious terrorist's or the corporate oligarchy in the modern secular world?
There are some exceptions, IRA was not one. Protestants against Catholics ?
The fact of the matter is that people are being murdered daily because of their religious ideology.
If a creator did exist, did create man, then he did not make a very good job did he?
By the way who created God ?? Difficult question if man was not the creator of god.
I have often challenged religious people to name just one tangible benefit humanity has derived from religion. The answer of course is NIL, taking hope and spiritual attainment out of the equation.
Babies born with severe deformities, deceases that have wiped out billions of people, only science comes to the rescue, medical progress created by MAN has made huge strides in eradicating or keeping decease at bay.
Imagine a very religious family faced with a very sick child, yes they will pray, but it is to a hospital that their child will be brought at not to a holy place.
