In light of recent events in the Paris Olympics opening and the mocking of the Olympics.. One of the first thoughts that came to me, after watching the event was this thread. There was a comment from a member that stated that Christianity is the continuation of Ancient Greece. A few weeks before the opening ceremony in Paris, the assasination attempt on President Trump again brought me back to this particular thread. In the west there seems to be some sort of slow decay happening, in fact has been happening for a long time, lately it’s been accelerating.. women are being told that they are the same as men, kids are encouraged that they can choose their gender and trans people are fighting for rights.. How is this a connection to Ancient Greece and Christianity? The debauchery against Christianity in Paris came at an event that honors the Ancient Greeks. The vast majority of people in the west follow Christianity, Christianity began to flourish in the same areas that Ancient Greece flourished. Could the statement “ Christianity is a continuation of Ancient Greece” be true? Back then, in the heyday of Cyprus forum I could not see a connection but now the connection between Ancient Greece and Christianity is becoming more clear. Free speech and free thought are being criticized. Man and woman are interchangeable. Aspiring to have a family criticized and belittled. Lies and manipulations highlighted as a common good. Gender used as a weapon against society. Strength and masculinity pointed at as the cause of destruction.. Christianity mocked at the Olympics. Little kids encouraged by their parents to change gender.. it seems the west is in decay and the decay promoted by governments and institutions like the olympics.. layers upon layers of culture slowly being decimated after thousands of years of building.

Go back into your time machine and get back to 1600s. There are witches to be burned.

Ask any person who identifies with a gender they were not born with and you will get your answer. A child understands what gender they feel but unfortunately they feel they have to suppress it till they are much older. This is the same with gay people. People like you do not understand the idea that a child can discuss these maters with their parents/teachers if their parents are not like the likes of you and you then identify that as the parents/teachers encouraging them to change gender.

You cannot change a person with one gender to change to another no matter what you try. Leave your thoughts at church once you live the brain washing hot house and you will be fine but first you have to live 500 of years of life that you have missed out because of your upbringing.

Our resident restroom supervisor is correct and he is qualified to know that men dont belong in the women's toilets and vice versa.

And now Lin, the Taiwanese boxer and two-time world champion, will add to the debate, having also been disqualified from the women’s World Championships in New Delhi last year after failing to meet the gender eligibility criteria of the International Boxing Association (IBA).

How does a woman fail the gender test if she was born a female and registered as a female at birth? What was the test that they carried out? Why will they not reveal the test they carried out that last year blocked her from competing but this year it seems she was allowed to. It seems there are people who are both male and female at the same time. So there goes the idea that gender is binary. If a person is born both male or female surely you can have a person who is born as a male but identify as a female and vice versa.

I’ve heard from these far left liberals stuff like “ you be you” and “ love is love”…. “ women and men are equal”…. “ your truth is the truth”… What it all sounds to me to be is destruction.. approx. . 5000 years of human wisdom, have I heard of the above.. my question is this, is the human specie in decay?

Lets see now.

Lets take

"you be you". I whole heartedly agree with that. A person knows exactly what they are.

"Love is love" - indeed so long as you feel real love rather than this capitalistic materialistic love, that I whole heartedly agree with too. it is two way thing other wise it turns nasty. It is called being besotted.

"Men and women are equal" - I prefer "Women and men have equal rights". Clearly men are stronger than women in strength which is normal in life. Sure there are animals where the female is bigger and stronger like frogs and bats but they are the exception.

"Your truth is the truth" is utter bullshit. Truth is the truth no matter who says it so long as they base it on facts and prove what they are saying. Today the sun rose from the east. How can anybody say otherwise. Truth must be based on facts that can be proven. Sometimes the facts are not easily found but there is always circumstantial evidence which will lead to the truth too.

In 5000 years of human wisdom nothing has changed. There is no decay in humanity. There have always been the people of weak character who needed the Christianity/Muslim or any other religion to follow a good life till you realise that the Religious do not have your interest at heart. They have their own agenda.

In the past we had Kings and Queens to rule and now we have Democracy. Well Democracy is the weakest form of government and is easily bought by the wealthy. In reality the wealthy always used the King/Queen or Religion to exploit the workers. So even that has not deteriorated. Wealthy still are able to use Democracy to exploit the workers. But we now have Unions which in some measure do look after the workers interests except in some circumstances like in America where the Unions have been taken over buy the Mafia.

One big difference now is we have lots of nice facilities like central heating, cookers, transport, Internet, washing machines etc. Gone are the days where man ruled and women were in effect slaves.
