All gods and religions are the invention of man....that is why killing in the name of any religion is so wrong and voluntarily dying for it so utterly pointless.

Yet they glorify them as saints and martyrs. The Hellenes believed in one source but many gods, knowing that nature's inventions have power, be it man's nature or the environment. This is what Christians cannot see. They have so many churches with different gods, yet they fight because there is only supposed to be one. If they accepted polytheism without questioning the oneness of the source there would be no problem.

Behind each YouTube is an undercurrent which is like a snowball building. Just read the comments section to realize that the Hellenic Race is not extinct and that the numbers are building. One day they will take that which belongs to them and away from the likes of you.

Correct. Who wins the "race", the tortoise or the hare? Ironically, if you want to live to a thousand, and the first person to have such a life expectancy has already been born, then genetics are not going to provide the tools in the next 20 years. Engineered intervention is, if it gets the funds. :| Actually its called Strategies for Engineered Negligible Senescence or SENS (look it up), but these Rastas keep telling me sens(imilla) is the solution. Get with it drug dealers!

Spot on Tsuk!

You have to look at the achievements of the Ancients and be amazed and compare it to what "Greeks" has achieved since Byzantium. They actually took the world into the Dark Ages which makes sense.

The only reasonable explanation of this is that Greece must be inhabited by Slavo-Albanians who killed off the indigenous Hellenic Pagans. They did the same thing in Cyprus.

Now, if I were a betting man, my money is on the Hellenic Tribes resurrecting themselves to former glories and not the current imposters currently controlling Greece.

The ancient Greeks developed a culture of striving for knowledge in philosophy, science where there were no limits to the achievements of humans and for the short time they had their civilization they achieved many things deemed UN achievable...Christianity teaches to be a servant of God and that blindly submitting to God through faith is enough...although Greek philosophy is used to reason servitude to God it doesn't necessarily mean that Christianity is the continuation of the ancient Greeks. There is however the notion that Ancient Greece does resonate in modern Greeks as something more familiar or closer to Greece then Christianity, it may come from the pagan rituals and traditions that the orthodox Christians still use. Didn't Ancient Greeks have myths where humans challenged their Gods but nowadays modern Greeks resent the fact that they aren't allowed.

Excellent points Oceanside.

The Ancient Greeks did strive for knowledge and their Ancient Religion allowed free thought, philosophy and science to flourish. What has replaced it is something completely substandard and regressive, and I detect a strong undercurrent today which is getting bigger and stronger. It's really only a matter of time but what needs to be done by this undercurrent will be no small thing as they will need to challenge the establishment which has managed to entrench itself at the expense of Hellenists and their ideals.

They are frightened the other POV may be right, when it comes to any alternative, and this is after all much about thought control...

Think on this, that religion and state often went hand in hand, so one could not have people thinking differently about religion, or they might begin to think differently about the state....
