To me, its both an art and a sport.
I was a gymnast between the ages of five and fifteen, I trained four times a week, within that a great many hours, and compete at a local level. Unfortunately I am very broken, and to even contemplate throwing myself around a pole would result in a great deal of pain due to the amount of sports injuries I have racked up over the years.
