I agree that it is strange that American and British government concerns over other countries appear to be in direct proportion to the amount of oil they have.

But my point is that it is the Governments who decide who to fight and the forces have no choice but to carry out their orders.

Sure in every country you have some of below average IQ (it is mathematically impossible for everyone to be above average) and some people are cruel but when you group people of a country under the same heading then, in by book, that is racist.

Not arguing with the fact that the govt's decide what wars to fight, but the point I am getting at is that a Soldiers occupation is to "serve their country". It is their job, just like the Lawyer, Black Smith, Check Out Chick, etc..... These people were not forced to choose the profession of being a soldier (in most cases)

You clearly want to believe what you want to believe and are too arrogant to even consider that you might be wrong. And you are so gullible that you believe whatever newspapers write when it endorses what you want to believe and ignore everything you do not want to believe.

Americans aren't a race...like Australians aren't a race. They are children of ancestors who settled on a land belonging to other people and called it there own.

Dont tell me that the average black-american, hispanic-american and caucasion-american are the same people.

Even within caucasians...they could be polish, irish, german, english, etc.

That’s all down to the individual person. If they are more worried about there colour or there nationality. Or where there great, great, grandfather was born.

Personally I think it’s all a load of Cr**.

The only one who cares about that sort of stuff is the ones who go on about it all the time. I think it’s far more important to take responsibility for ourselves and not go on about who comes from where. Let’s face it. If you choose to, you can keep going back and pulling up old history and cry about it. In the mean time others are going about dealing with things for today.

I was not suggesting that YOU were a racist.

Sure in most cases soldier decide to sign up but is that any reason not to be grateful that they do a job most of us could not or would not do. Also most sign up in their teens and do not fully understand what they will be called on to do.

I certainly appreciate all the men who died in WWII so that do not HAVE to speak German.
