Yep! Gotta agree, one more victory chalked up to Davut's strategic depth vision. Managed to get 27 European nations to restate the rights of the RoC to its resources and tell Turkey to piss off. And the US State Department to reiterate that it approves of Cyprus utilising its energy resources.

He forgot that Cyprus, way before it started this gas caper, stated that the revenues would be equitably apportioned between the island's communities. So now Turkey's moves look like a theft attempt, which is what they are and others can see through the bullshit.

Read the announcement. I don't know what comic you've been reading but the EU has asked Turkey to respect Cyprus's sovereignty over its territory and it's economic exclusive zone.

Very helpful indeed....every time one of those oil companies has any doubts about its bid in those plots, out comes erdigan with his little tug boats getting a full confirmation from the US, the EU AND Russia that the deals they've signed with the Republic of Cyprus are legit.
