And where do you think that might get you? It would be International News and when people start looking at the map then opinion won't be on your side. Additionally, it would be a major provocation to Israel who may start some bonfires of their own. They are Israeli boats and Israel sold them so that they can have their own force multipliers in the East Mediterranean which are interoperational with their own.

It only takes one Exocet to start a bonfire and that will depend on who has their finger on the trigger first. Just ask the Royal Navy!

Look chaps stop talking shit and be real here . There are some observations and realities which you all can't deny . When you look at the GC soldiers holding guard they kneal on the wall and chat on their mobile phones . They have been conditioned like the Europeans to be weak and soft . The same goes for the TC soldiers and the greek mainland soldiers but one thing you never see is the standard of the turkish soldiers never dropping They are strict and the army is zero tolerant . They take it very serious and they are prepared for every eventuality you can imagine . They are fighters but we cypriots are not so let's get real and stop acting like you have a chance . They don't take it for granted either that's why you all ways see them for the past 40 years building their army getting better and better and prepared whilst the softy GC s become complacent. You can't deny thus fact .

Keep dreaming that the only people on the planet who don’t have firepower or who don’t know how to use it are the Cypriots, and that Turks are some kind of superheroes who don’t bleed!

Your mindset suits the CNG just fine.

That's almost the same thing the Persian king said about the Greeks before he got fucked by the "complacent" and aloof Greeks....

Remember the interviews of the Shah of Iran on BBC before he got crushed? Same vein of thought. The west was soft, the people lazy, their use of resources wasteful, whereas his lot were hardy and disciplined and tough, and on and on he would rant.

All western soldiers look soft if your criteria are cell phone use. And that should cause you to stop and think. Most modern weapons systems have interfaces that depend on soldiers being familiar with devices like cell phones and computer game consoles. It gives them an edge over super disciplined automatons that are still fighting an insurgency from Kurds and not winning.

Ah, ye, and US navy seals tend to talk a lot on their cell phones too. Check out the clips on Youtube.

The 15,000 young phone-junkie regulars take 2nd stage when war breaks out because it’s the 100,000 non-phone using reservists that take command.

A little detail our friend forgot about…

The gas issue is taking a new dimensions following the Israreli proposals for a pipeline transporting Israel's gas, via Cyprus, to Europe, bypassing Turkey and avoiding Egypt. The proposals were made by the Israeli energy minister yesterday (November 20 2014) at a conference of Mediterranean EU nations in Rome. The proposal met with strong support.

The proposed plan involves a pipeline via Cyprus, from there to Greece and on to Italy.

Such a project would make the discovery of Cypriot gas irrelevant. Whether gas is found in the Cypriot EEZ or not, Cyprus will be integral to the plan and its EEZ enforced by the EU as a whole regardless of any objections by non EU. The pipeline will go via the western EEZ to Greece.

Turkey managed yet again to be left out, definitely not part of any solution.
