Do you know if there's a traditional knife from Cyprus?

Postby steff » Tue Oct 21, 2014 12:45 pm

Hello,
I'm Stef and I'm doing a research for school.
I'm looking a traditional knife from Cryprus.
For example, France has Opinel, Spain has the Navaja... is there a classic knife from cyprus?
Whether it's a traditional knife, a popular knife, a brand... I'd appreciate your help!

Thanks
steff

If it helps, in the CY dialect, a small knife and that could be a pen-knife, a locking knife, a pruning knife etc, is called a "chakee".

Would you like to see one of my extensive collection of chakees cousin Lardo, one dark night...???
