Why so much anxiety? You've held onto 37% of our island illegally for so many years, what's changed now? Do you agree that the natural resources of the island should be divvied up equally? Is land not a natural resource of this island? I didn't see you rushing across the green line to hand over our dividend cheques from your casinos. Fuck the islands natural resources, where's my personal dividends from my own natural resources? My land in Morphou consists of vast plots of citrus bearing fruit, if that's not a natural resource I don't know what is.

You've been telling the world you're a separate country since you declared your little puppet state in 81. Your premiers have been saying that the Cyprus problem was solved in 74. You north us in the south...remember? What's it to be?

I know most of you can't keep a straight face when demanding resources in the south of the island.

Well said DT!

The TCs want it all their way. They want our resources but the steal everything from 180,000 GCs who can't return.

As for having a timetable, it is their ploy to hinder the process until that timeline is exhausted, after which they are going to try to blame the GCs for not agreeing to their blackmail and as a result they should become an recognized State. The international community know their games and the RoC should stick to its guns, Eventually things will come to end when America is fed up and there will be no ifs or buts.

Already, Turkey is on the nose, so its only a matter of time before the US sends Ankara its harsh medicine/punishment and that might involve Cyprus.

Just be patient and give them enough rope to hang themselves.

And the GCs do not want a timetable because they do not want a solution nor do they want to commit to being forced to find one, their last stunt proves my point.

The last "stunt" as you call it has seen the EU, the US, Russia and even the UK condemn Turkish actions and reinforce Cy sovereignty over its EEZ. You want to play battleships? Go ahead, don't expect us to negotiate while you do though. Time for Turkey to grow up and realize she can't have this.

If you supported the racist apartheid AP in 2004 and want time frames for the negotiations now, it can ONLY mean for you to run out the clock without a democratic solution. Time frames are great if everyone is interested in a Democratic solution, but your 2004 vote on the AP proves otherwise.

It's a damn pretty valid excuse and in any other country, you would be intercepted with shots over your bow!

This provocation is an escalation that could lead to war!

Its an excuse all the same, the GCs are not interested in any form of sharing, time to stop lieing to the world and state clarly that you demand a GC unitary state with TCs reduced to minority status.

Sorry, the President made it very clear that there will be no negotiations whilst Turkey Engages in Gunboat Diplomacy within the RoC's EEZ! There is nothing to discuss and no country in their right made would tolerate this escalation.

We are protecting our interests, looks like you have bitten off more than you can chew things will start to get more and more difficult for all parties concerned.

I don't think so.

You don't have any interests legally. The RoC does and so do the oil firms from US, Iraeli, Utaly, Russia and France which have signed deals with the RoC.

Good luck with that!

For us, it's not all that difficult at all. But for you, the negotiations have ceased.
