Now we are reading the GCs are backtracking to say they have not abandoned the Turks but merely taken a break...............man you people are pathetic....a couple of ships and you shit yourselves.....extracting gas on paper is one thing but as I have always said the whold project can backfire, Turkey will not clear your path without cutting some sort of deal, this is how things work the big boys play and the little people eg GCs watch.

And what would "real negotiations" be? wouldnt it serve the GCs right if the TC now said time table or we wont return to the table with time wasting liars.

Time table? :? OK, let's agree that if negotiations fail, you will have to bugger off from the island. Agreed?

If both sides are not tied to time table they will negotiate for next 50 years and still not get anywhere, obviouly we TCs are more commited by demanding a time table and it appears you have still not gotten your head around the idea that we are not and will not go anywhere.....we are here to stay at worst on 37% of this island.

Why so much anxiety? You've held onto 37% of our island illegally for so many years, what's changed now? Do you agree that the natural resources of the island should be divvied up equally? Is land not a natural resource of this island? I didn't see you rushing across the green line to hand over our dividend cheques from your casinos. Fuck the islands natural resources, where's my personal dividends from my own natural resources? My land in Morphou consists of vast plots of citrus bearing fruit, if that's not a natural resource I don't know what is.

You've been telling the world you're a separate country since you declared your little puppet state in 81. Your premiers have been saying that the Cyprus problem was solved in 74. You north us in the south...remember? What's it to be?

I know most of you can't keep a straight face when demanding resources in the south of the island.

Well said DT!

The TCs want it all their way. They want our resources but the steal everything from 180,000 GCs who can't return.

As for having a timetable, it is their ploy to hinder the process until that timeline is exhausted, after which they are going to try to blame the GCs for not agreeing to their blackmail and as a result they should become an recognized State. The international community know their games and the RoC should stick to its guns, Eventually things will come to end when America is fed up and there will be no ifs or buts.

Already, Turkey is on the nose, so its only a matter of time before the US sends Ankara its harsh medicine/punishment and that might involve Cyprus.

Just be patient and give them enough rope to hang themselves.

Dont forget you are untilizing 63% of the island plus recognition milking it for all its worth, you are yet again confusing personal property and state property (resources) and the benefits derived from them, the fact that you do not recognize the TRNC means we have rights under previous agreements which you are committed to uphold which in turn means our share of the gas find, recognize the TRNC and we have absolutely no rights to the gas find, you cannot have both.
