I have much faith in the recovery and for better days ahead.
And people like you have a LOT to do with Cyprus' problems. Not only by your copious, erroneous posts against Cyprus Airways, or from your selective complaints about coffee charges, nor yet your flaunting of property matters - all these were BAD press for Cyprus (even if wrong) and you helped form every excuse used to hit Cyprus - but also via your perpetual denial of the culpability of TCs in the continuing occupation of Cyprus.
Don't bring your whingeing British habits to Cyprus! Take them to Belarus!
Well Well !!! My dear young lady. Both my parents, grandparents great grandparents and beyond were Cypriots, not only Cypiots but Paphites !!
To critisize certain unsavoury practices in Cyprus can not be misconstrued as detrimental to the interests of Cyprus, on the contrary Cyprus needs more people such as I and Paphitis, both of whom love Cyprus but not the ugly part of it, such as corruption and bird trapping.
I do not critisize T/Cs because I consider them a part of Cyprus having been on the island for generations.
By the way how did you know im going to Belarus ??? Flying there on Friday to visit my ....wife
Arrived as scheduled, but two hours late, having sat on the aircraft, apparently thunderstorms in Germany and Holland held back most flights out of Gatwick if flying over these two countries.
I love Minsk, especially now, Christmas time
Streets decorated with Xmas lights I had to double check my calendar, make sure it was not October 10th !! They love their lights in Belarus and so anxious to start the Christmas festivities earlier than most other Christian countries.
Somehow the bright sunshine, around 20c, gave it away as usually and guaranteed Xmas is always a white Christmas in the whole of this landlocked country that produces the worlds most gorgeous females as well as one of the very few countries, I think, that one does not have to insert a coin in a supermarket trolley, you see there are no coins in Belarus just notes and notes and notes. There are 13340 Belarus rubbles to the euro.
The capital of Belarus is Minsk, a city of about 2 million, most of them ....gorgeous females
Casinos are everywhere, mostly Russians and , Yes, Turks. You will see the Turkish flag in most hotel receptions, I did ask why isn't the Cypriot flag shown, the young receptionist told me that there are no Cypriots staying at the hotel but if I bring a Cyprus flag next time it will be flown !
Cyprus is called Kipper, sound a bit like ...rengga !!
Going for my early walk now admiring the wonderful architecture of Minsk, a library that exists no where else in the world and heavily illuminated with revolving lights in symmetrical order creating different shapes of lights.
the smallest mote being just 50 BYR , not long ago they also had a 20 and a 10 .
