Finished my lunch, consisted of Kleftiko cooked for 3 hours, aubergines grilled and topped with grated haloumi with sliced tomatoes on top. Such a feast, all for ...one.

Had a lovely email from a wonderful human, a lady from Bulgaria currently in Cyprus engaged in a documentary highlighting the plight of song birds. I applaud her and I will severely and rather ferociously counteract any stupid comments on her work.She is a highly educated Medical professional who still finds time to follow her passion for the preservation of natural; beauties such as ambelopoulia.
Pavlina, you have my highest respect and admiration, I do so much hope that we meet
soon.

Now for my number one Pet Hate, so intense is my antipathy to those directed at that I best calm down first, just finished a fine claret so will sleep for an hour or so before revealing what I detest most, I feel so strong about this subject, I can hardly wait to post it..

You know bloody well that I do not hate T/Cs since they too are the victims of the dreaded cancer that has caused the invasion and the continued occupation of a third of our island. Unlike you I consider the genuine and native to Cyprus T/Cs as my compatriots who have equal right to call Cyprus their homeland as I have.

Whilst I too abhor those characters that prop-up the occupation (your, pseudo-state), I do not let off the hook those thousands upon thousands of TCs who not only prop-up the occupation but are clearly relishing their pseudo-victim status whilst they milk the RoC and its native Greek citizens of property and human rights. Be a man and treat the TCs EQUALLY!

MY NUMBER ONE PET HATE

Unlike the other 9 , this is by far the most potent of all of my pet hates. For more than 5 years I have been engaged in, mostly unpleasant verbal interactions, with low down Cheapskates, mostly lower class , lowly educated so called " Brits" opportunist hyenas who rushed in the occupied parts of MY HOMELAND, MY NATION, in search of cheap stolen properties and throwing their full support behind the occupier. They and they alone fully recognize the puppet state, have the audacity to announce forthcoming "elections in....CYPRUS !!! Of course they are referring to the pseudo state and the pseudo elections to come.

I have lived in the UK for more than 50 years, I have embraced my adopted country and I proudly fly the English flag in my showroom window. My late English wife shared 46 years with me, many English relations that I have always respected and loved, Decent people and very English. Never imagined that there existed a bunch of so called English who absolutely detested my race, supported wholeheartedly the occupier of MY HOME LAND, joined in the so called ...piss celebrations of the Turkish barbaric invasion.

They know I dislike them immensely, how do they know, I tell them clearly that they are low down cheap scum bugs, driven by a financial ulterior motive they have convinced them selves that they are experts in Cypriot history.

Although they are being screwed right left and centre they maintain their full support hoping for a fricking miracle. Brainless English mostly peasants, ex council estate tenants that the late Thatcher assisted their purchase of their dingily council homes.

There is an old dried up prune, prolific in her condemnation of the RoC, she was in the free parts but moved to the occupied areas, no doubt for a bargain she no longer has, but steadfast in her continued support of the occupation, the stupid cow refers to the invasion THAT CAUSED THE DEATH OF THOUSANDS as an intervention. Single brain cell low down Cheapskates.

My number one pet hate would be the Greek Cypriots who are also opportunists, exploiting cheap airfares from ERCAN to Istanbul rather than going from Greece, booking hotel rooms and little mini vacations in hotels which invariably are on stolen GC lands, or those that visit the many Casinos, propping up the occupation regime.

Yeh sure the Brits are bad enough but the Greek Cypriots need special consideration because to top it all off, they are traitors, and should be charged as such by the RoC authorities (as should the low life scummy Brits should be charged for buying illegal properties).

But for me, the GCs who partake in such activities, take the tourta! Congratulations scum-bags!

The Brits would have to be a high second, but they are outdone by the GCs because they can't add Traitor to their CV, although their blatant disregard and disrespect of GC properties and the refugees is below contempt and illegal and they should be held accountable by the RoC authorities for this.

But on second thoughts, I also think the Turkish Military should be at number one, in which case the GCs fall back to number 2, and Brit Chavs a very seedy and disgusting number 3.

Which really reminds, I wonder where my friend from Bellapais is? He has disappeared.

He inherited his property from his father who bought his property legally from its rightful owner before the invasion.

He too opposes quite passionately the behaviour of many Brit Expats in the occupied areas.

I agree with you on this but as I said from the start this was intended to be a light-hearted thread avoiding political implications who would easily have led into argumentative discussions.

I had to substitute 3 of my pet hates for this same reason.
