...for years i sat silently, wanting desperately to be part of a dialog, to do something for Freedom, for Cyprus, against the Ignorance which brought so much pain to my family. i write now, everyday, thanks to the internet, i don't know what's better, but meeting other men like you milti, is a pleasure.
regrets; go for it, it is bound to be enriching, for all of us...
The pleasure is mine my dear friend. I feel that I have known you all my life, yet we have never met, not yet, don't even know your name, but I know you, I read your posts and admire your eloquence and your undoubted love of our mutual country. Like me, I think, your heart is in Cyprus, like me, again I think, you left the shores of Cyprus for a better life overseas, Cyprus was quite hard all those years ago.
I will never forget that early morning way back in October of 1961 when I stepped on the boat that was to take us to the ship, held back the tears until the silhouettes of my family waiving goodbye begun to disappear.
So many years ago, so many memories...
