Travelling by train to central London day before yesterday, I dont do this very often, but what with parking, congestion charges, traffic I hopped on a British Rail train to my favourite station, ....Victoria where I first....

Got on a District line tube packed with people from all walks of life and cultures.

I stood up as no seats were available and since.. dying my hair pink I looked 30 years younger!! Nobody offered me a seat. In front of me stood a "manthing" covered in tattoos, one of my pet hates, as if that was not enought on the back of his stupid neck there stood like a fricking sore thumb two great big ...studs !! What a Plonker.

I hate tattoos and body pearcings, men wearing a multitude of earings, nose bloody rings and cock ones too. As for women, what makes an attractive woman cover her self in studs, tatoos and nose rings!! Brain deadsymptom no doubt.

Yes, gone are the days when gentlemen gave up their seats on the trains. People will think you weird if you did.

Travelled on the Tube the other day and went for a very long stroll around central London... packed with flipping tourists, very loud tourists, particularly prominent in numbers and volume were the French.

You could tell they were French cos they were particularly poorly-dressed and ill-mannered, assembled in large groups eating MacDonalds in public, and generally got in the way, ... oh, and they gibbered away in French.

All cluttering up the place. They should piss off back to Berlin.

Yes, the number of pet hates increase with age, proportionately increasing with age.

And here was I was I thinking that Berlin was in West Africa

Oh... yes, you're right Pappou, Berlin is somewhere in Africa.

The other thing to piss one one off in modern-day London is the growth of this euro-disney pavement monoculture.

Everywhere you go is a long line of cafes, selling poor quality coffee-flavoured milk-shakes, tables and chairs spilling over on to the pavements; you could be in any city in Europe.

London pavements are for walking on...!!!, or for their traditional uses as somewhere to throw up on or have a piss on, to generally relieve oneself, after a session.

My original list of My Top Ten Hates contained one or two that I have now removed since I did start by saying that this a light-hearted thread not designed to attract undesirable "political" contributions emanating from some who shall remain anonymous.

Like a football manager I held a few reserves that will substitute the ones now removed.

I was surprised and pleasantly pleased to have seen the number of views attracted within minutes of posting, indicative of the fact that most on this forum are sick to the teeth with repetitive and highly, controversially, emotive threads.

My number one has retained its position and does contain an element of "political" consequence but since it will be the last one any diversion into other areas would not be un acceptable.

After breakfast the number 5 will make its entrance ....

NP 5

Noisy Neighbours.
There is nothing that gets up my nose like neighbours playing loud music, distasteful I might add like fricking rapping which I consider the ultimate cacophony dressed up as music. The Greeks have this obnoxious sound too.

On a summers Sunday afternoon I sit in my garden enjoying the sunrays reading my paper or just relaxing. Two doors away some Polish tenants of the owner insist on playing jungle music with the thuds of drums deafening .

Now I ask, what gives them the right to push their crappy music down my ears, well I did get some ear plugs so that I don't have to listen to their shit.

Of course if you are brave enough you confront them and ask that they turn the volume down. Boy did I confront them !!!

In some Cypriot supermarkets they too play this shitty music, Greek rapping , I understand that different people like different sounds but as long as they restrict them to their stupid ears I don't mind.

I love my Greek music, I love classical sound, the violin, solo guitar, I hate bloody drums.

Turn your car radio on and immediately more and more crappy sounds.

NO. 4

BAD TIME KEEPING.

I love cooking, always have done, my UK and Cypriot family know of my ...culinary skills. When I cook I want everyone out of the kitchen, I do all the preparation and on many occasions I can take more than 3 hours to prepare a feast. I don't just cook a meal I create an abundance of varying dishes as starters, appetisers etc., some hot some cold.

In days gone by I would invite a number of my UK family for a bash, always stipulating that dinner or lunch would be ready at a specific time.

Being in the catering supply business I have easy access to everything needed in the kitchen including Chafing dishes for keeping food hot and in pristine condition. Stopped doing my " parties " now since I would always get annoyed at the tardiness of some of my beloved nieces. Always bloody late, now the hot starters get cold, the cold ones dried up and I get thoroughly pissed off.

You spend 3 hours cooking, including many Cypriot dishes such as kiofdedes, macaroni tou fournou, grilled aubergines topped with grated halloumi with an anchovy on top and the nieces turn up an hour late !!

My Cypriot family know of my intense dislike of tardiness and when they come round the apartment they are always early.

Being a "boss" at work, my staff know not to be late and I must admit they are fantastic time keepers, a good bunch to employ,
after all 3 of them are Bulgarians, never met a nicer bunch, industrious honest hardworking. The lady Bulgarian has been with me for over 10 years, an absolute stunner that turns heads round to take another look. Lovely person, respectful and absolutely gorgeous.
She never calls me by my name always calling me boss, I gave up trying to get her to call me by my name.

So please remember be on bloody time

NO 3
Unfortunately this is to do with my beloved Island of Cyprus.

PSEUDO CONNOISSEURS WHO EAT LITTLE SONG BIRDS.

A practice that has become synonymous with grilled halloumi , a cruel and unnecessary practice that provides a few grams of meat seen by PCs as a culinary delight, Archidia to that. Birds such as ambelopoulia ought to be seen and not be trapped, netted or shot in order to satisfy the many who consider their meat as superb !!

Nature belongs to all living things , these birds are so beautiful to see, hardly seen any for years. What's wrong with wild mushrooms, ameledita, karaolous and so much other delicasies.

Some years back I witnessed a disgusting culinary cultural practice, I wont go into it other than say monkeys have feelings too !
So I appeal to you all, protect these birds, refuse to indulge in a few grams of meat, try archidhia they are delicious grilled

NO 2
Greek Cypriots propping up the pseudo state.

Fileleftheros newspaper wrote the news with the following heading: “A monthly sum of 100000 Euros is spent at casinos in north. Only in Augusts Greek Cypriots spent 410000 Euros in the occupied territories. 2 million in travelling to Turkey over Ercan (Timbu).” According to the newspaper only in August a sum of 200353 Euros worth of reservations was made to the hotels in north Cyprus and 110000 Euro’s for reservations to hotels in Turkey. Besides this, the JCC monthly data reflects that the Greek Cypriots carried out journeys to Turkey with a sum of 108000 Euro and 659 credit card processes. The newspaper stated that there was a decrease in the number of people travelling to Turkey after Turkey’s electronic visa application when compared to previous years and that the 101000 Euros spent via credit card at casino’s in north Cyprus is approximately the same as the sum spend on gambling in previous months. "

Here we are with a third of our island occupied by Turkey and some selfish peasants with the brain of an ant rush to the occupied parts to spend their money on Casinos and no doubt on a bit of ...

It is an absolute disgrace when our own people are flagrantly supporting the economy of the puppet state. It is well known that I too visited the occupied parts many times, but for vastly different reasons. My views are also known by all my T/C friends, too many to mention.RE MALAKES, O NOUS SAS EN PASTO KOLOSAS , GAMOTO !!

I realize that this No 2 pet hate is somewhat political, but I just could not keep it out of my list. To see these fricking morons rushing to support the economy of the pseudo state makes my blood boil. Gambling, prostitution, hotels also exist in the free part, why support the occupying regime, a bloody disgrace.

And, do you hate equally those TCs who prop-up the pseudo-state (probably 99% of them)?

You know bloody well that I do not hate T/Cs since they too are the victims of the dreaded cancer that has caused the invasion and the continued occupation of a third of our island. Unlike you I consider the genuine and native to Cyprus T/Cs as my compatriots who have equal right to call Cyprus their homeland as I have.

What on earth did you expect them to do, fight the Turkish occupation army ?

My number one Pet Hate is indirectly related to my penultimate one posted as Number 2.

After lunch I shall reveal ...
