The death toll in Turkey has now reached 33 .. not all anti-genocide protestors either, now. In Bingöl, a senior policeman and his bodyguard were gunned down while inspecting damage caused in the protests.
Wonders never cease. The Turkish police have arrested club-wielding DAESH supporters who were attempting to enter Istanbul University and cause trouble.
According to the following news (in German) by German State Television, Cemil Bayık, head of the Turkish Kurdish separatist PKK organisation, has announced that they have called back all of their fighters who had been sent abroad to be ready to defend people in Turkey in the wake of 30+ deaths of anti-DAESH demonstrators.
Just because Erdoğan and his gang support DAESH and stand by as they prepare to commit genocide in Kobane, this does not mean that everybody in Turkey shares their stance. At the Golden Orange film festival, the team from Murat Eroğlu’s “Those Returning from Dawn” film appeared on the stage wearing “Kobane” T-shirts.
More signs that this is spilling over into Turkey as the Turkish air force staged bombing raids on PKK positions inside Turkey - the first time this has happened since the process to solve the Kurdish problem began.
