How many ruins of Ancient Temples are there in Cyprus?

And to which Gods?

We have a Cypriot Temple to the Cypriot Goddess Astarte at Kouklia Village near Paphos.

The Temple of Apollo at Kourion is one of the most prominent - Welcome. :)

Yes but this temple has nothing to do with Cypriot Culture and history like Astarte. I presume the OP wants to experience all things Cypriot on the island of Cyprus! They don't want to be eating McDonald's when they can have the Souvla and Kelftiko instead! :)

It's just an invading remnant.

Put simply, when you go to Scotland, you eat haggis and wash it down with a nice Scottish single malt!

The Greek culture in Cyprus is older than the Scottish (Celt) culture in Britain. The Cypriot culture is essentially a variation of the Greek culture. Kleftiko, is a dish made all over Greece for example.

There were temples of Athena, Apollo and Aphrodite at Idalion (Dali). Recent excavations have uncovered evidence of a temple to Adonis.

The ancient city was founded, according to tradition, by the Achaean hero of the Trojan war, Chalcanor, descendant of Teucer, the founder of Salamis....

Which brings us to Salamis in the occupied areas and its temple to Zeus (the surviving ruins date from the Roman period).

That must be from the Cypriot influence which went from East to West!

The Cypriot Culture in Cyprus is older than the Greek Culture in Greece. The Greek Culture is essentially a copy cat of Cypriot culture and inferior to Cypriot Culture no doubt as it combines various Slavo, Albanian, Gypsy and Ottoman influences.
