Here's another link; (albeit in Greek, but you get the gist.

The US should be bombing Turkey, not just Syria.

Syria's official news agency SANA has confirmed that Syria's foreign minister, Walid Muallem, was informed about the US air strikes through Iraqi foreign minister, Ibrahim al-Jaferi.

Yes, it was confirmed that Syria was informed before the strikes took place and it also seems to insinuate that they even got permission from the Syrian Government to avoid being accused of violating Syria's sovereignty. This is an interesting development.

There was also an admission that Washington and Tehran are cooperating on a diplomatic level if not on the battlefield or militarily.

The dynamics are shifting at a very dynamic pace it would seem. Who would have thought this a few months ago?

Syrian Foreign Minister Walid Muallem in late August had warned Washington against carrying out airstrikes on the Takfiri ISIL terrorists in Syria without Damascus’ consent.

Expressing Syria’s readiness to cooperate with the international community to confront terrorism, he underlined that any such attacks without the approval of the Syrian government would be considered as a violation of his country’s sovereignty and an act of aggression.

Yes, interesting days. I wonder if Russia has sweetened Syria up a bit behind the scenes. The Assad regime is finished without Russia, after all.

An 18 yo teenager was being questioned by police about his unfurling of an ISIL Flag. The teenager stabbed 2 police officers before being shot dead by another.

This is going to put the cat among the pigeons.

Where?

Koalaland

An 18-year-old man shot dead by police officers in Melbourne on Tuesday night was a “known terror suspect” and person of interest to security agencies, the Australian government has said.

The federal justice minister, Michael Keenan, issued a call for calm, in an apparent acknowledgment of the risk the “horrible incident” could inflame tensions at a time of major changes to Australia’s counter-terrorism laws and deployment of forces to the Middle East.

The unnamed man, from Narre Warren, is understood to have stabbed two officers – one from the Australian federal police (AFP) and one from the Victoria force – as he arrived at Endeavour Hills police station in the Melbourne’s south-eastern suburbs.

The Victoria police officer was taken to the nearby Dandenong hospital and remained in a stable condition on Wednesday. The AFP officer, who was more seriously injured, was taken to the Alfred hospital and remained in a serious but stable condition.

The stabbing incident was probably bollocks... having in mind how Australian police operates.
