What? You mean ELAM is joining the fight for civilisation? Brilliant.

No, we will wait until all barbarians are dead.

A team of Turkish journalists has returned from a visit to Kobani and reports the following:

• They report only seeing armed YPG fighters on the streets.
• The YPG has moved its headquarters to a securer location in the fringes of the town; the building next door serves as an infirmary.
• The YPG has positioned snipers on nearly every roof.
• Enver Müslim, joint president of Kobani canton, says there are still about 2,000 civilians in the area.
• They have not yet received arms reported to have been sent by Barzani.
• For the past two days, no ISIL flags, which were earlier flying in places, have been visible in Kobani.

I wonder if this is recent news. It certainly contradicts other reports that the bloodthirsty psychopaths are in control of half of the town.

Hellenism über alles, Timmy boy. 1/3 of Turks are Greeks. We will fight together when the time comes.

There are a number of Kurdish sources that are claiming that the YPG is in full control of Kobane.

Who knows? Another report I posted the link to yesterday describes the streets of Kobane as being littered with headless corpses.

You know, I have taken a look at the time difference between here and Australia and the times when you are posting, and have come to the conclusion that you must be a total insomniac.

That's because I'm currently not in Oz.

I'm in UTC + 4 at the moment.

https://news.vice.com/video/kurds-left- ... dispatch-1

a very good video at the frontier...

Turkey has closed its border with Syria as Islamic State militants battle Kurdish forces in the Syrian border town of Kobane. Turkish checkpoints and tanks ensure that no one enters or exits the town, while nearby some of the 180,000 refugees who previously fled into Turkey watch helplessly as the fighting unfolds in front of them.

VICE News travelled to the Turkish side of the border as US airstrikes hit Islamic State positions in Kobane. As we watched alongside Kurds from both Syria and Turkey, they talked about Turkey's lack of support for the Kurds fighting in Kobane and provided updates on the battle.

...who is left in the town, young, old, sick, or fighter, are considered terrorists, by Turkey; they cannot leave to Turkey without being arrested.
