...don't generalise, "Turks" are not Turks, and Cypriots are not necessarily Greek, because there exists as well, "Greeks". Cyprus is neither, "Greek", or "Turkish", it is a Modern Country, and to be Cypriot, after so many years of existence under subjugation, as an Identity, is an Identity which deserves this recognition and respect.
