VP, with all due respect, but it is not to the TC's that the RoC has to offer anything, it is to Turkey. You seem to be living in denial by thinking you still have any effective say, but you have long gone past your sell by date. Turkey has used and abused you for her own strategic interests, yet you still seem to think it is you that is negotiating. No, you are doing Turkeys work by proxy.
I appreciate their are trust issues, but you only look at it from your end, we do not fear TC's, Turkey with its might is our enemy, I think that puts US in more danger than you.
In any case, the TC's future is within the RoC fold, not Turkey for we have seen what Turkey is doing to you.
You underestimate TCs, we have nothing to fight for, the current situation is far better than what the south has to offer which we can have tomorrow by moving south. Turkey is a better option to the "RoC" which has made no concerted effect to get the TCs back into the fold as you put it, if given a reason the TCs can easily use the international platform to bring about pressure on Turkey by cliaming TCs have resolved their issues with GCs and want to unite ...but as you are well aware we CYRIOTS are not very clever people and we cannot understand a very basic insticts that if one is offered a better deal 99.9% of the time people accept it.
I totally understand your fear of Turkey, it is warranted, she is a lose cannon ball which you do not want to irritate, you claim our relations with Turkey are abuse and we do her dirty work for strategic reasons, if it suits me then whats the problem?
