'Ser! Ser!.... Ser you are money!!'

Story of the day.

Was walking to the bank today, (Bank of Cyprus, Paphos main branch)
When I saw a physically angry man, (tall and Russian looking) walking towards his rental car (wife in passenger seat) in a state of frustration, with his keys in one hand and an ATM card in the other.
As he's about to drive off, another guy with a pile of cash in his hands comes running around the corner yelling in heavy Cypriot, 'Sir, sir!....sir your money!'

From what I understood in the commotion:
after punching his code and requesting a certain amount to withdraw It appears there was some kind of cockup with the ATM machine and was not issuing out money.
After some time the guy gave up and decided to leave.
They guy behind him was greeted with the other man's money as he was trying his luck at withdrawing his own cash.
After realizing what happened he grabbed the cash and ran after the tourist.

Niceties were exchanged.
Yes, I was happy too.
