Nikitas wrote:"is the official Mukhtar for the Turkish Cypriots living in Limassol" is from an unrelated post by Tim Drayton in another thread.

I found the reference to an official Mukthar of TCs living in Limassol facinating! Who are obviously not being attacked and can organize themselves as an official community. Where is the equivalent of the GCs living in Kyrenia I wonder.

Individual intolerance and thuggery is turned into a rallying point, but the VPs of this forum overlook the official and institutionalised racism of their regime. A GC cannot even run a kiosk in the north, let alone vote for an "official Mukhtar". In Larnaca last week I shopped in a TC owned shop. How many GC owned shops are there in the occupied territories I wonder.

No one has applied.

...can you imagine, the Flag of Cyprus, flying off of some building, or kiosk, in Kyrenia, (never mind a Greek flag)? isn't that illegal in the "North"?

...i suppose VP you are trying to imply that the occupied territories were always the untouched natural beauty they are today, that the people, and all of its relics, are from its good earth; and if it was never Cypriot (because Cyprus never existed), your "part" of the island is pure (as it was) "Turkish", it explains why there are Turks in the south, and we know your opinion of them, they are simply, not "Turkish" enough.

...i remember once you admitted such thievery, think again, only half of the population of Cyprus would be willing to go along with you, Greek, or Turk.

The British general, after shooting scores of Indians asked about providing help to the wounded said the same thing- none applied. Turkish cynicism at its best.

The 28000 Karpasites were reduced to a few dozen by the clever ploy of letting them leave but not return regardless of applications.

The inventors of ethnic cleansing know their trade.

In 300 or 400 years no one will care, LOL

You obviously have not read the story of Lambousa as set out in your "official" TRNC leaflets. Have a look, it makes interesting reading, your version, not ours. Three hundred years is a blink of an eye if you have a long history and tradition to rely on.
