History tells the story: Cyprus has been Hellenic for 3,500 years and Christian for 2,000 ‎years. Never did the Turkish Cypriot minority, during its brief presence on Cyprus, ‎hold on to any contiguous part of the island. From 1,500 BCE into the 20th century, the occupied north, like the entire island, was always Greek, and later, Christian.

The above is a FACT and no stupid excuses and lies can change it. I don't agree at all with the actions of Israel but AT LEAST the Jews can claim that they are returning to their homeland and that this gives them a right for a Jewish state. The Turks on the other hand have no valid reason whatsoever to demand anything more than minority rights in Cyprus.

How would a Greek Cypriot be treated of he stood up for the Turkish Cypriots?
