On this day, July 24th, the State will be celebrating 40 years of regime change, which supposedly brought the country the rule of law, fairness and democracy. Celebrating this, this year, takes a special dimension, as this is done in a country, which has changed into a place of ruin, wreckage and moral decay, the people suffer, unemployment is approaching 30% and for youth 60%, dozens of major scandals with impunity, with no prospect of moral consequence, with no vision in sight on the horizon. A celebration of the life and times of the unworthy, who for forty years dominated the country and led us today to this depressing reality. Golden Dawn has NOTHING to celebrate on July 24th, let alone those days of 1974 which are directly linked to the national tragedy and betrayal of our Cyprus with the barbaric Turkish invasion of the Greek island. “Democracy celebrates and Cyprus weeps” was a phrase wrote on the walls in the old days by Nationalists. It was hailed then as the wonderful start of a multi-party system, and now 40 years have passed and forgotten is the memory of the huge amount of brave people who died in 1974, when those great “democrats” said the famous quote “Cyprus is far away.”
MEMORIES OF 1974
It was July and I had not yet turned seventeen years old when I saw with my own eyes and heard with my ears crowds in the streets of Athens … with candles (!) Waving their hands to welcome the “messiah.” At that same time, the Turks bombed the Hellenic army camp, at the same time the barbarians slaughtered Hellenism in the land of Evagoras. I heard loud car horns honking on every street in Athens that day, but for me in my ears the sound was becoming a single word, a powerful word: TREASON, TREASON, TREASON. Forty years have passed and yet nobody has opened the envelope on the case of Cyprus to find the traitors. However indisputable it may be, the fact remains that this betrayal was founded on what is called democracy, forty years after the regime change.
The crowds screamed, the hammer and sickle came from its crypt and napalm bombs were dropping in Nicosia while in the streets of Athens we saw the first dead of our Armed Forces, their corpses from Cyprus, were buried as if they were thieves without honor or publicity. They made the time not for Heroes, it was time for mourning, but they made it a time for rejoicing, for triumphal processions to welcome the new policy that was coming.
JULY 1978
They had been in power four years by that tragic July when I was in jail being a probationary reserve officer, because of according to the indictment attempting to overthrow the regime. Those years were hard for all nationalists, they were the years of “reform” the years of dissolution of the nation state by the first government of the country, New Democracy (1974 to 1981). It was at that time that the demonization of nationalism was founded, then came the foundation of the regime of the red junta, the red ideological and political terrorism, which continues to the present day. Anyone who dared to say even one word against the leftists, automatically was becoming an outcast in public life and stigmatized as an enemy of “democracy.” I think that “stigma”is a title of Honor 40 YEARS AFTER THE REGIME CHANGE.
Forty years have gone by since July 1974 and the dominant system, the establishment, would be fair to make an evaluation of what they have done, to make an “account” … But we do not because it is easier for them to just confess and people don’t question how an entire country, sank into decline, an entire Nation. The following words will remind the readers, you our comrades, some of the actions and dates of from the foreign rulers of our country.
1974-1981: Government Decree, “reform” dissolution of the economy, and Nationalist persecution and entrance to the famous “Europe”, which was said to save us from the Turkish threat and fill our pockets with money. How this story went, we all know…
1981-1989: The years of “change” … The only change made was in the faces of the state-capitalist oligarchy, the “new progress” that dominates the country today. Reckless extravagance, further spread of leftism, consolidation of corruption with the 2 party state.
1990-1993: The time of promised “cleansing”, which never occurred and instead corruption continued .
1994-2004: With the Prime Minister Simitis in place since 1996 we had the Imia tragedy, the delivery of Ocalan to the Turks, the stock market scandal, the final allocation of the national economy into the hands of international usurers and at last the absolute surrender of national sovereignty.
2004-2009: The New Democracy government, with illegal immigrants continuing to pour in, with the state internally trying to remove the “elected prime minister”. Cooperation with Russia was voided demonstrating that in this country there are forces stronger than any internal political power.
JULY 2014
After the fall of the Karamanlis government we have spent years in the Memorandum, the natural outcome of a pernicious and foreign corrupt political system for forty years. Yet, for the first time in July 2012 there was a party in parliament, which refused and still refuses to celebrate the continuation of a scheme, which was born out of a betrayal and everything suggests that it will collapse from a betrayal, a betrayal of the Memorandum.
July 2014 and I am writing this sitting within a jail cell, since they could not stand among them the presence of Golden Dawn. July 2014 and I repeat DO NOT forget the betrayal of Cyprus and do not forget the traitors and know very well the reason why I’m prison: Not bowing to worship the FOREIGN POWERS, AND NEITHER BEING SUBSERVIENT!
