Cyprus has been under occupation since 1974!
A country that does this and forbids 180,000 citizens from their ancestral lands is beneath contempt and you would do the same if the UK was under occupation.
You can't have it both ways. It's ok for everyone else but you conveniently turn a blind eye to the dire situation in Cyprus.
So when does a country like Cyprus have a right to defend itself? If we were a much bigger country with a much larger and better equipped military similar to Israel, would we have the right to attack and wage a destructive war against Turkey? What do you think?
Do you believe Cyprus is going to achieve justice on the negotiating table without some extraordinary circumstances which could lead to some support from countries like the US? Why are Cyprus and innocent civilians of Cyprus being punished by an expansionist regime?
Must I remind you that Turkey refuses to negotiate and is continuously and maliciously changing the goalposts and holding the island to ransom. WE ARE AT WAR! A nation of 75 million is at war with a nation of 800,000. If Israel blows a few Turkish ships out of the water why would I even care?
Do you believe might is right?
