And we might come again the way Turkey is going. No beach landings this time.

Just F-18F and F-35s in your skies. Let's be honest. If that were to happen, a war with either the IDF or ADF, Turkey wouldn't know what hit it and the superpower will scamper with its tail between its legs.

"'Freedom Flotilla II' set to sail for Gaza from Turkey "

We all know what happened the last time, this time however, subject to Ankara's agreement to provide military escort to the flotilla, one could only hazard a guess as to the likely reaction of the Israeli military.

The scenario is set for a Turkish- Israeli confrontation, I do not however believe that Turkey would embark on a mission likely to inflame the already inflamed situation.

but you have not explained what you would like to happen. would you like to see the ship stopped so no essential supplies get through to the injured palestinians or or would you like them to go through. on the other hand if erdogan does feel a little foolish and decides to send some soldiers through, would you like to see a war between esrail and terkey where 10s of thousands people get killed or not. explain your thoughts old man. or do you have another wish dare i ask.

I will tell you exactly what I would wish, stupid.

Hamas to denounce its commitment to the destruction of Israel.
Israel to withdraw from occupied territories following the 1967 war.
Both warring parties to respect each others right to a peaceful co existence.
An unconditional truce followed by civilized negotiations.
And finally Turkey to resist the temptation of providing a military escort to this planned flotilla.

Erdogan will use any trick to get elected as President in the next Turkish Elections. I bet he won't be aboard, but will send others to die for him.

Maybe Erdogan thinks he can break the Israeli treasury by demanding high compensation for those Turks to be killed by Israel in the next flotilla to Gaza???

Last time weapons and other contraband materials were found. Obviously, Turkey is supplying Hamas with weapons.

I would like to see Turkey send in its Navy to ensure safe passage of the ships and to protect Turkish Citizens. After all, 1 Turk is worth a thousand Jews!

Turkey is not going to send the ship with no escort. They would be sitting Turks!

The repercussions of any Turkish military involvement would be catastrophic for the entire region. I doubt very much that Turkey will provide military escort to this latest flotilla, efforts ought to be concentrated on diffusing the current situation and not inflaming an already highly fused situation which has caused so much suffering to the people of Gaza.

Israel will not agree to a ceasefire that leaves Hamas in the position it was before this war, concessions must be made by both parties in order to bring to an end this tragic war.

Let Hamas commit it self to putting a stop to the firing of rockets at Israel and let the Israelis commit to ending the blockade. Both parties can then claim a stupid victory. Is it this difficult to achieve and stop the continued suffering and killings.
Again I emphasize the futility of religion, both are religious, both are capable of killing filled with hatred, yet they both believe in a supposedly one god.
