Ioannides, like most Cypriot politicians, is an idiot.
No, this was not the most successful Cypriot presence at the games.
Delhi was, in 2010 with 4 golds, 3 silvers and 4 Bronze making a total of 11 medals which translated to 12th position on the medals table.
If I recall correctly, many CF forumers were with me documenting the medal tally back then.
