Guaranteed Minimum Income

Postby MrFluffy » Sat Jul 19, 2014 8:35 am

Hi, has anyone actually got through to the helpline for this? Wasted a lot of money on hold for hours, at different times of the day yesterday and this morning.
The application is a nightmare, even my close friend who is Cypriot and reads Greek perfectly had problems with it.
Thanks, Fluffy

We get benefit for one of my children who is classed a mentally disabled , despite an IQ that qualifies her as a Mensa member. We used the CPMental organisation to help us complete it for her. Everyone agrees the form is a complete mess.

Cynics suggest that is deliberate......

Apparently all post office staff have been trained to help you fill out these forms, try there.

this so called charity also provides the benefits to the disabled who may not be able to work. They too are now covered by GMI. My daughter cannot work and needs close on EU 1500 a month for her extra care, therapies, etc.

I wasn't talking about the disabled...

...unless we have 100,000 disabled (estimated number of applicants)!
