You need to stop showing people time and time again what little you know about football mate. The Maltese champions would not be able to play Barcelona because you need to qualify through 4 rounds to play in the. Champions League group stages. Notice how there's not a descriptive regional reference attached before "Champions League" like "Asian Champions League?"....,it's because this is THE champions league. Where the worlds greatest clubs gather to play against each other. Your wombats would be lucky to qualify for Europa.

What a load of shit. WSW can play Barcelona too and even jag a draw or lose by a small amount on their day but don't try and tell me that Apoel is up to WSW spec because it ain't even close.

Not only this but the Asian League is not that popular in China. It's popular in the Middle East among the Gulf States, Japan, Korea etc.

Some of the clubs are actually owned by Emirs who earn something like a million bucks per minute.

Only in your dreams will Apoel be watched by a Billion viewers!

While you guys yank your chain, WSW will be lifting the Asian Champions League Trophy and will get its game against the European Champions League Winner. That might be Barcelona.

And that game will be watched by 2.5 Billion viewers! 8)

Not only that, but the prize money WSW will get in its coffers! 8)

Shut the fuck up idiot!

I'm bloody calling the WSW CEO and ask him to blow his Christmas Party Budget on taking over Apoel FC.

Ring ring

Paul Lederer PA: Western Sydney Wanderers.

Paphitis: Paphitis here. Put me through.

Paul Lederer PA: Please hold Sir.

Beep Beep

Paul Lederer: Hello

Paphitis: it's Paphitis here!

Lederer: What do you want Paphitis?

Paphitis: I want you to buy Apoel FC.

Lederer: That's the team from Tel Aviv right?

Paphitis: No it's the team from Nicosia.

Lederer: oh yes! I know the one. Nicosia is the capital city of Sicily.

Paphitis: No you dork! Cyprus.

Lederer: Cyprus? (Laughs hysterically)

Oh and btw...your giant club has a stadium capacity if 21500. Apoel has 23,000 capacity in its stadium. Now If we take the country sizes as an ratio I'm happy to say, you guys are pathetic. :D

WSW 2012-2013 attendance 174520
Apoel 2009-2010 attendance 244977

I'll find same year comparisons if you like. We're still a bigger club. Not bad for an island of 750K. Now don't make me go buy your little futsal team and hire them all flipping burgers for BBQ nights at the GSP.

Watch Real Madrid’s match on channel #204… the Bulgarians are playing the match of their lives! 1-1 at half time!

Nice to see small clubs really going for it these days… times are really changing... seems everyone is fed up of the usual teams getting the silver.
