No I can't……because I have been saying we need to evolve and take in ALL things important but you do not have the capacity……I will not come down to your level and contradict myself.

You think I didn't know that 8) What do you think the "Fishing" message was about? Milti is still a prick and so are you if you think that I said anything to support the jihadists. Milti is the one with double standards who says he cares about what goes on with people he doesn't give a shit about. My brain was engaged when I spoke to him and was doubly engaged when i spoke to you. If you think a racist, jingoistic fool is worth wasting time over then…..I am not working at the moment….I have all the time in the world

Arif Akbaş, the head person of Hacıbayram quarter of Ankara’s Altındağ sub-province, has spoken to the Turkish press about the tactics used to recruit more than 30 people, including children, from his quarter to join ISIL forces in Syria and Iraq. He spoke of this happening against a background in the area of few people having regular jobs and drug addiction being widespread

Sounds just like Hackney, eh? Not Chigwell, though.

Although I was still young when we left Hackney I have spent years working their watching the changes. I started on the Kingsmead Estate by the old Lesney Matchbox factory. It was full of prostitutes, cockroaches and the mentally challenged. A policy by the council to isolate these people from "society". They realised their mistake and started moving families in. Now its a complete miss mash of people with even academic types taking advantage of cheaper rents…….Not as cheap as before though. Only last year I had a lovely experience 6:30 in the morning watching canoeists and swans on the canal. It was very peaceful. Then on another day i was diverted by a policeman standing over the body of a young man probably drug related. As for Chigwell, very affluent with some supplying the drugs to Hackney. Not necessarily the Jews anymore though….The Sikhs may be filling the tradition of Chigwellian splendour  I, on the other hand, live just the other side of the tracks as it where.

Small world. I know that my niece who has just given birth lives somewhere in Homerton ... although they are moving out to "the country" now that they've got a kid. It is not a part of the borough I ever ventured into when I was living there. I saw plenty of the 253 bus route, though, because I was a conductor on it.

The best thing they could do Tim. Why anyone would WANT to live in Hackney baffles me. THere are pockets of middle class white hippies everywhere though (Is that a contradiction in terms?) who enjoy the great variety of restaurants and posh cafes. Stoke Newington High Street being one of them. Old decrepit victorian houses that i watched deteriorate over four decades have been restored by their Jamaican owners, who use to make a living from renting. Its great to see them go from sitting outside their properties in amongst rubbish to having expensive cars parked outside because they bought at the right time. The Hackney Empire and Town Hall area looks like the middle of the west end now but still I would not want to live there. I suppose I am a country boy at heart. Sorry TIm, I am telling you all this and you might already know. Do you still live in or close?
