I think our GC friends just have a genuine hatred for the UK, US, Australia. Their enemies are their friends type of mentality going on here.

The West does have " a with us, or against us" foreign policy. Those that are against will be punished in some way. Cyprus was punished in 1974.

They take politics personally, when you can never afford to do so. Today, the US is talking to Iran. The Aussies are best mates with Japan. This would never be possible if they practiced politics Cyprus Style.
