Millions lost their lives fighting the Nazis in two world wars. Fighting for freedom, democracy and human rights, ingredients that are very much absent from all Islamic nations. The UK is a tolerant and a democratic nation, will never permit "islamization" taking over regardless of how many third world theocracies enter the country.
That's why they all became imperialists and colonialists...
Milti, know that i don't segregate between people, religion, culture etc but only as good and bad i segregate them... in essence they are all the same... though it's still relative... however it's crystal clear that a healthy mind is depended on several sociological, economical and psychological elements... when these elements intentionally or unintentionally were corrupted, weakened, abused etc by some powerful external and/or internal interest groups; there starts the declension in all fields of life... this is the problem in essentials... the greedy elites be it in the west or in the east are in collaboration to make the innocent ordinary people suffer in all fields of life... they are the ones creating the beasts and push them fight to kill each other... why? They are not able to control the huge world population as how they wish... they afraid of losing their huge wealth to the masses... they want to reduce the population to a point that they will be able to take the people's full control... it's not a conspiricy theory... it's crystal clear... no one can stop them... even the freedom, democracy and human rights you supposedly have... they will soon be expired... so what? May all their inhumane plans fail and the ordinary, innocent, good people of whole world converge to peace, justice, prosperity and true knowledge...
Unlike you I do very much differentiate between a culture that determines a woman has to be killed for choosing the wrong partner, according to her family, or a woman has to be killed for using a mobile phone. You have it all wrong I'm afraid.
Right now you have people whose culture is totally alien to western culture involved in atrocities against people of the same beliefs, ie in Iraq and Syria.
There are savages who blow themselves up at funeral processions, markets, public places and indiscriminately and intentionally murder innocent bystanders.
Yes, I do indeed differentiate between cultures that restrict a womans human right to marry who she pleases, a woman that is mutilated so as to eliminate a part of her body so that she feels no enjoyment herself but offers enjoyment to her man. A disgusting archaic and barbaric cultural act. No we are not all the same.
However you still deny the creators of the beasts... it's not God or nature...
"The well known American writer, Draper, wrote: "During the period of the caliphs, the learned men of the Christians and the Jews were not only held in high esteem but were appointed to posts of great responsibility, and were promoted to high ranking positions in government. Haroon Rasheed appointed John the son of Maswaih, the Director of Public Instruction and all the schools and colleges were placed under his charge. He (Haroon) never considered to which country a learned person belonged nor his faith and belief, but only his excellence in the field of learning."
Sir Mark Syce, writing on the qualities of Muslim rule during the period of Haroon Rasheed said: "The Christians, the idolaters, the Jews and the Muslims as workers running the Islamic State were at work with equal zeal."
Liefy Brutistal wrote in his book: "Spain of the Tenth Century: So often the scribe writing out the terms of a treaty was a Jew or a Christian. Just as many Jews and Christians were holding charge of important posts in the State. And they were vested with authority in the administrative departments, even in matters of war and peace. And there were several Jews who acted as the ambassadors of the Caliph in European countries."
Islam’s Golden Age has many lessons to teach the greedy and terrorized world of today.
Why did it all end?
Why did Islam's Golden Age come to an end? What forces shifted both political power and learning from the Islamic Empire to Christian Europe? Like all historical trends, the explanations are complex; yet some broad outlines may be identified, both within and without Muslim lands."
