They showed nothing in their 2 games. Absolutely nothing and they are now prime candidates as the worst team seen at this World Cup.

Perhaps our Greek Cypriot forumers here need to eat some humble pie. They made fun of Australia but at the end of the day. The egg is on their face and not Australia's.

Australia holds its head up high because they came and they are playing a style of Football that can beat anyone. Can't say the same of Greece.

Listen, I'm not interested in football - and nor was Greece until recently .... But if you want a fight ... you have to play fair and judge from when they actually started playing football seriously at national level ... which wasn't until the 1990s; and pretty soon, by 2004 ....

.....they became European champions in only their second participation in the tournament.

GiG, Greece has been entering WC qualification since 1954.
Qualified in 1994 for the first time, and predictably hold the worst record in WC history. 10-0 thrashing, all games lost.

2010 and 2014 are the other years they qualified. Equally traumatic.

You can't be serious? Greece has been playing competitive football for nearly 100 years. They've been trying to qualify for the World Cup since 1934.

Greece has been trying to qualify for European Championships and World Cups but couldn't.

Yeh, it's really funny Erolz. Australia is actually ranked higher than Greece in the all time points table.

Yet they have the audacity to say Australia is a nobody in Football.

Well the proof is in the pudding. Can Greece beat the nobody countries like Japan, and Australia? Highly and I mean highly doubtful.

The Japanese had 70% of possession before Greece was reduced to 10 men. All the can do is put every man behind the ball and defend. No creativity at all!

Even New Zealand would defeat Greece because the fight hard.
