How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Judging by the way they are treated by the "trnc courts" they probably realise that they will be the first ones to be forced to cough up the 25% - must be shitting themselves. No doubt the local TCs will have cousins somewhere in the system who will get them off the hook.

Just out of curiosity

Where is the carpetbaggers forum?

North Cyprus Free Press, dominated by Pauline/Polly and her saga with the bank that stole "her" property. They will defend the "trnc" with regard to the ROC to their dying breath but seem oblivious to the fact that the TC establishment that they support are the same crafty buggers that we have been "negotiating" with since God knows when.

Well it was the man from Africa that said it not a GC source, perhaps you can explain why he would he would publish a false report and while you are about it reveal your source. True or not it's bound to dent the "trnc's" biggest money earner.

BTW I've never heard it "bandied about" before.

Why it was reported by Africa....... You answered that with second to last sentence......at least that's what they are hoping

The only other thing I am prepared to say is......internal silly politics. Not conclusive I know but I will leave you to it now.

Without a source, Zan, your denial is as credible as Sener Levant's claim  Do you think he should be wearing a bullet-proof vest for a while?

It's taken two years for this to happen but why now? Can Turkey no longer afford it or is it a case of putting pressure on the "trnc"?

...the so called TRNC is fucked, or soon to be fucked not so gently.

The IPC, as far as "they" were/are concerned has failed to produce the number of properties that it was supposed to, there is no more illusions that money will buy them this land presently illegally occupied, there is no longer a need to fund it.

...while the solution seems years away, it seems near and in sight as well. Hopeful if you ask me, for Cypriots at least. That what is will change, without this kind of support (the "Turks" in Cyprus), it (Cyprus) will return to what is natural.
