Yes, I admit you fell out the backside of a camel’s arse!

So as you can see psoro-Paphitis (ahriste don ahriston), Cyprus has had plenty of soccer glory in its past… it’s just that we can’t get the same consistency as other nations because we have a tiny population that cannot guarantee quality strikers every year.

When you have to select an 11-side out of a pool of just 800,000 people it’s a lot harder than doing it from 25m, 50m or 100 million isn’t it?

In fact, if you were to calculate a ranking based on performance per/capita you’d find that Cyprus would be in the world’s top 5 footballing nations!

Cyprus is a minnow compared to Australia. Cyprus is completely out of its league.

Please do send the team to Australia to play, only because i doubt Australia will go to Cyprus because they might as well play Guam or Tahiti instead!
