Why? Because some of the biggest players on the planet play in the A League as Marquee Players or signings and the league is heavily linked to the EPL, Bundeslige, Siera A and Dutch First Division.

Bye bye!

Then how come your top team is ranked 500+ something?

That’s worse than war stricken camel humping Afghani teams…

Now let's be honest here? Do you really think the Cypriots are ranked higher than Afghani teams?

Do you really think Apoel is ranked higher than some Bundeslige and Siera A Teams because FIFA says so?

When networks like ESPN and FOX are signing 100 million dollar broadcast deals, I would say it's the money that talks and the bullshit walks!

In your case, the bullshit has walked so far you could circumnavigate the globe!

Look, why don’t you lodge your complaint with the UEFA vice-president/treasurer… you know tell him that the Cypriot premier division in inferior to the Australian and see what he has to say…

No need buddy!

I have common sense and know what's what! Really sorry but only an idiot could ever think a Cypriot Team is ranked higher than any of the A League Teams. :D

Money talks, bullshit walks!

Look mate, I will level with you and say that I would love it very much for the Cypriot League to be better than the A League. Unfortunately, it's not even close. The A League has been built on a very superior business plan, probably something the CFA should try to emulate. It also has a far larger market both locally and internationally.

In other words, it's a very unfair comparison for Cyprus. The game is better organized, attracts bigger audiences, higher tv rights, and hence the clubs have bigger budgets and so they get better players. The A League and the Football Federation of Australia have really accelerated since the Crawford Report. It is a full on league and very high quality.

Also, I would love to see Cyprus play Australia one day. I would love to see Cyprus beat Australia but realistically there is not much of a chance of this. The Australian Team at this World Cup was the weakest and worst prepared in history but they knew this when Postecoglu put in many young players. The up side is that in a few years, the team will be much stronger. And yet for an inexperienced team, they played very well and should have knocked off Holland. They were outclassed by Spain. So the team will do very well and rise through the rankings quickly to at least the top 30 and they are aiming for top 15 which they have achieved before. The sport is very popular in Australia. Biggest participation sport as a matter of fact.

The Aussies are quite sports crazed. Behind all Australian Sports Teams is the Australian Sports Machine. There is no Sports Machine quite like the Australian Sports Machine. It's almost like a Communist State where the authorities get 2 year olds, places them under a Gymnastics Coach and trains them for 20 years to win Olympic Gold.

In any case, Cyprus has achieved good success in Soccer and other sports like Tennis. For its size it is excellent.

A sport you guys should embrace more is Rugby because the way the Cyprus Team is playing it could qualify for the Rugby World Cup. At the World Cup, the Mouflons might even play the Wallabies. I promise I would support the Mouflons. Still doesn't change the fact that the Mouflons will get killed and need to be rushed to the nearest intensive care unit, but the mere fact that they played the Wallabies in front of 2 billion fans, is victory enough for Cyprus. I shall send flowers and my congratulations to the intensive care ward.

Imagine the global publicity if the Mouflons played the Wallabies, All Blacks or the Springboks? This would be a huge win for Cyprus in itself.

Good lawd..
Last 2 games
Europeans 10 - Mestizos 1.

FIFA needs to implement some affirmative action, too racist for the liberal lemmings.
