The AFC is not an easy competition to win. There are a lot of quality countries playing there and you saw 4 of them at the World Cup.
There are a few that didn't qualify and are a better team than Greece, such as Egypt, Tunisia, and Saudi Arabia.
Greece I don't rate at all after seeing them play total shit Football.
Probably Cyprus could win the AFC with their U-21 squad. Unfortunately we are not Asians.

I really don't think so.
Greece couldn't win the AFC because the set ups in Japan and Australia are pro whereas Greece only has 4 reasonable teams in its First Division.
It is a completely different league.
And yes, both Australia and Japan are ranked higher than Greece in the all time rankings from 1960 and onwards.

If it's anything like the influence on the tennis circuit, Australia's rise to sporting 'prominence' ( ) must be due to the influx from the 1960s of Greeks .

I'm glad you agree!
The thing is, if you are going to talk about rankings then you can't pick and choose. Australia has outperformed Greece in Football over the last half century.
