Spain played well - pretty much like what you would expect from the reigning World Champion.

They had the Aussies shaken up. The Aussies only know how to attack. It's an attacking team and that is their best form of Defence. Either they win or concede goals.

It was a good World Cup for them. A very young team has been bloodied and man did they play well in all their games, especially against Holland.

They now know they beat the world's best so expect this team to get much better over the next few years because they are young, very young. It's a team that will create some headlines in the future.

In about 4 years time, they should be where USA and Costa Rica are today. They will be a team that can beat the Brazils, Argentinas, Dutch and Germans.

That's how Australia play. Always a very positive attacking game, and they look good against World Class Opposition. There only problem is their inexperience and they play a very open attacking game, which leaves them open, especially when the concede first, they throw a lot into the attack.

Accidental handballs are up to the ref to decide but this guy was VERY generous to Australia given the distance from the net and overall circumstances.

Also, I don't think the referees were unfair to Australia either.

And no Australia did not play shit at all. They got a lot of very young but bright up and comers now, and far out, what they did to Holland was out of this world. They also had a good game against Chile!

Btw the Greek team apart from playing in a superior domestic league also play in the German, Italian, Spanish, English and Scottish 1 st division.

The AFC is not an easy competition to win. There are a lot of quality countries playing there and you saw 4 of them at the World Cup.

There are a few that didn't qualify and are a better team than Greece, such as Egypt, Tunisia, and Saudi Arabia.
