Eoka B (and 'the organisation' before it) has exactly the same relationship to Eoka as the Real IRA have to the IRA. There is a continuity of people, objectives and means that runs from eoka, through to 'the organisation' and on to eoka b.

EOKA was fighting against the colonialists and had the support of the majority of Cypriots. EOKA B was against the democratically elected government and had very little support. What the objectives of Cyprus are and how those objective should be pursued can only be determined by the majority of Cypriots. If any foreigner or any minority uses force to obstruct this democratic process is a terrorist... which puts EOKA B in the same group as the TC terrorists who refused to accept the democratic choices of the majority and choose violence in an effort to impose their minority views.

The TCs never accepted democracy so there is no such time. But in Cyprus we have many other minorities and they are all fine with democracy... YOU are the problem, not democracy. 1974 brought a war that continues until today. Where did you see peace?
