You have missed that boat a long time ago, you will never return to Cyprus as you have never had courage to take that step...yet you want to dictate to us on how we should live, bloody cheek and waste of time....the people that live on this island are far more important.

Point is if he ever decides to return he will be as Cypriot as anyone else. He has the "yeast". In fact he did it 7 (?) years ago and he felt as Cypriot as anyone else living here.
Besides more than half the participants in here are EXPATS, and the rest are by 90% people who lived in an English speaking country. What gives you the right to judge who is important and who is not?
Tim Trayton for example is a British living in Cyprus. He cares about the place. Did he ever stop been having views about his homeland, and are his views non important because he is now living in Cyprus???

The only boat I may have missed long time ago that you did not miss was to come to Cyprus and live off stolen GC properties in the north. You at age 30 in 1993 living in the UK which by ALL accounts was a much easier place to live and make a living instead of hardly any economy in the north at that time, and yet you brought your young family to the north to no prosperity at all, other than living off the stolen GC properties in one way or the other. You choose to come and live in a "morally corrupt" society in the north 20+ years ago which has turned you into a GC hating Racist Fascist with more determination to keep the stolen GCs property and partition Cyprus. If this what I missed by not coming back to Cyprus at the time you did, then I'm very happy not to have returned, because I'm almost certain I would have turned out just as morally corrupt as you have become!

So how did you become more Cypriot than me just by you living in the north? You despise the RoC and do not even have a RoC passport or even recognise it but instead want to destroy it, and if you choose not to become a RoC citizen that you have the right to inherit from your Cypriot parents, then you are not a Cypriot.... period. Being citizen of the "trnc" does not make you a Cypriot at all. In fact, it makes you nothing at all if that’s possible. That right ONLY comes via the RoC, hence the reason why ALL the Illegal Alien settlers in the north are not accepted by the EU or the world as Turkish Cypriots, or else they would have the right to obtain EU passports via the RoC. You can label them "new TCs" all you want, but at the end of the day, they are still Illegal Aliens in Cyprus just as you would have been had you yourself not had a UK citizenship. In reality, you are more British (English) than anything else because that's where you were born, that's where you went to school and spoke the English language and that's where you worked the first 30 years of your life. Since then you have been living off others miseries in Cyprus. So basically VP, you really didn't come home to live in Cyprus, instead you came to live off Cypriots and Cyprus. At least when ever I do come to visit or live in Cyprus, I can do so as a Cypriot. I'm very glad I did not follow your footsteps 10, 20, or 30 years ago when it would have been so easy to do. Instead I chose another kind of life for myself and still remained a Cypriot!

All sour grapes Kikapoo you missed out when you chose to live abroad and live to the beat of foreign drums, you cannot have it both ways, living abroad gives you no rights to what goes on in Cyprus, you are a foreigner with a heritage which you have bastardized. Your age now stipulates that you would find it very hard to move to south Cyprus let alone stay there.

I did the right thing by moving to my country and raising my offspring to values far better than 13yo pregnancies and boozing binges like most Brits. How i earn my income is none of your business, I could be very wealthy or have lands in the north pre 1974, so your presumptions only serve to quell your own desperation of knowing that the Cypriot sailed many years ago and your grave will be in a far flung corner of the world well forgotten by your bastardized offspring.

We all know he will never return to either part of Cyprus thank god, he is no longer a Cypriot but a foreigner.

The both spend 9-12 hours a day at work and traveling to work, 8 hours sleep, and 4 hours spare time plus weekends.
If I would move abroad I would spend my spare time tuning up my internet to all Cypriot Radio stations and TVs read all Cypriot newspapers from the internet, and know and feel about Cyprus the same way as I do now.
Nobody can tell that Kikapu for example doesn't know and feel about recent developments in Cyprus EQUALLY as anyone living in Cyprus.
Besides just take a trip abroad. You can distinguish a Cypriot from a mile away

Before 1995 yes any Cypriot expat would be totally isolated from Cyprus. But today with the internet, free online live chatting, cheap airline tickets, most expats can be as Cypriot as anyone living here imo.

Your living in virtual world, the above is just information which can never be compared to waking everyday to the smells and sounds of Cyprus, the good morning greeting which are meant and heartfelt, having the sun shine down on you everyday, having your family all over the island, seeing the mountains and Mediterranean sea every day, I love North Cyprus.

Let me add just one more thing. Your Illegal Alien status ONLY turned legal in 2004 when Cyprus became a EU member. Before then, you were an Illegal Alien as any other settlers in the north. Bottom line is, you are still not a Cypriot, Turkish or otherwise. You are only in Cyprus as a EU citizen thanks to your British citizenship, that's all.

Don't buy into kicks story VP, he spent the first few years making one up for himself. Probably didn't even know where Cyprus was up to point. He is a total fake.

Whilst you lot argue who is more Cypriot than the other

Let me remind you all, that if an INVASION hadn't have happened, you all wouldn't be arguing your case as to who is more worthy for the title than the other.

My other half would be in a village reknowned for the best watermelons and citrus the island had to offer. He would have his family in close proximity instead of being strewn all across the globe.

Gee whizz you lot need to be hit with a few coconuts

If 1963 didn't happen you mean FH. If the intervention hadn't happened then my family would be strewn all over the Island six feet under.
