Hi all,

I know this forums been frequented a few times by young lads looking for opportunities in Cypriot football and I know the forum isn't here to serve that function.

Cyprus seems to be a strange place in terms of communicating and getting in touch with people at clubs. It seems, like many places, the "it's not what you know, it's who you know" quote applies strongly to Cyprus. If anyone here has any contacts within first/second division clubs or any good agents then please send me a DM so we can exchange email information to discuss further. I've got a Greek Cypriot player from the UK who wants to explore opportunities in Cyprus but it's proving difficult.

I would be cautious. The local news has a number of stories about the parlous state of club finances and players not getting paid. Then read about the off-pitch supporter violence which injured a player as well as injuries to first aid staff, resulting in abandonment of the crucial championship match, and Politiking which has followed. What farce that has become.
