Will you now come clean and be honest with people that they've have been led up the garden path with the Recognition Plan B nonsense, especially in the light of the recent comment by the US Vice-pres...???

Really? Are you blind Kikapu.....do you still not have to check in at the TRNC "Cease-fire line", is Cyprus reunifed, has not the majority of TCs from the TRNC moved to the UK, has the Varosha been handed to the GCs, how many leaders have exchanged views and ideas since 1974, how many UN plans have failed.....and many more? You must have blinders on to the world. ALL of my predictions are on track - the evidence, just try to place a "Cyprus Flag" on Turkish Cypriot soil!

Only when it suits ay Kikapu.....And, it's going to get worse as the Gas Find that was infamously uttered by the U.S many moons ago just so happened to sufface just at the right time! Coincidence? Nah, deliberate!

Not really Copperline - the GCs are still living in the past.

To them, it's the "Occupied Zone" - Even the EU doesn't refer to NORTHERN CYPRUS as that - it only appears to be a GC term for Northern Cyprus.

Recognition here we come then!

i speak with turks and tc on other forums as well they all think that recognotion is right around the corner they dont realize the only way to get recognition is if the ROC AGREES TO IT.Even Mr.Kanli now seems to understand that the tc will only be recognized if it is a mutual agreement.The QUESTION IS WHat will the tc offer to get recognition that would be suitable for a the ROC TO agree.Also is there a ROC leader bold enough to accept a two state solution.

Its a mistake ceding land to Turkey. Its a mistake to not demand the blue line to be the border. Recognition is temporary appeasement.

Look at her track record and how she behaves with her neighbors.

it all really depends maximus of what a final agreement really looks like.Has there every really been a real discussion of a agreed partition?do gc really want to live with settlers,have guaranttes of third parties?someone my age of 41 would have been 1 at the invasion do the really have any attachment to the north or a 25 year old for that matter?is a tc state fully in the EU following the EU aquis worse than a disfuctional federal(confedral)entity with turkish rights over both units?

I do not think so but that does not mean that you should recognize them.

It's not that, Turkey cannot be trusted, period and they will not make it to EU member status.

If the north is recognised as independent then they can do what they want. If they cant follow the laws and the EU acquis now and comply to find the right solution through it today, why or how are they going to do it later?

What do we have otherwise, or if they do join the EU, Turkish rights over both units?

I wasn't aware that your so-called predictions were actually what were/are already obvious, if they were the predictions of the above!
