Yesterday was the funeral of a GC who was missing since 1964. He was found in a mass grave in Mia Milia with 14 other people. There are many more missing GCs from the 1963-64 period. These people are part of the long list of people murdered by the Turks ... from 1571 to 1821, from 1955 to 1968 and in 1974... and even after.

indeed, we (the body of the population called Greeks) expect from Turkey recognition and respect. I hope that the Republic will show the same decency, in implementing some form of redress for those the UN has most recently ruled were unfairly treated; because they were "Turkish", they lay dead, and missing, without a Criminal Investigation.

...I am sorry you think that I think you called me an asshole Lordo, I did not. don't confuse me with a buddy either, I don't care to pick sides, and if it is sotos you are referring to, I would not take "your" side against "his" side; there is one thing I fight for, it is to remind us, if you are Cypriot, Cyprus comes first.

...frankly, it may be I saw the worst of Cyprus, I saw the best as well. now I know the difference.
