Evolutionary theory answers GR's point about chickens and eggs and the first humans or the first in any new species, in the following very simple way...

The process of creating species is called "speciation" and it happens as a result of adaptations to environmental factors in a group of any flora and fauna, providing that group is isolated from the main group.

Isolation happens on places such as islands, the periphery of large land masses, on the other side of impassable mountain ranges etc.

The group isolated on an island, or anywhere else that is physically isolated, will continue to evolve and to adapt to its environment. Males and females will continue to breed but there comes a time after lots of adaptations when it can no longer breed with the main group, when they come back in to contact. It has become a new species.

The Great Creator of Evolution in an isolated environment forms new species from an isolated group.

(So, the question of first man or first woman or a first mating couple doesn't arise.)

Just because some islands are the only places in the world where you’ll find one or more species today (exclusively, such as the Komodo island) doesn’t necessarily mean that “evolution did it!” or that it was always the case.

Who knows if up to 5,000BC elephants roamed the Komodo Island but somehow died out? Nobody knows! Who knows if in 10,000BC Komodo dragons where also present in Hawaii but died out after a volcano buried them or something… nobody knows!

People need to stop jumping to conclusions and manufacturing absolutist theories just because they only have a portion of the picture and cannot fathom anything else.
