The main bus station in Nicosia is a stone's throw from Ledra Street and you just walk down Ledra Street to the crossing point and you will be in the northern part of Nicosia (you will need your passport to cross). All of the old buildings inside the walled city are in close proximity there.

From studying a street plan of Nicisoa, I would say that it is about 800 metres from the bus station to the crossing point.

Details of the bus service:

Thank you.

I've been in the northern part of Nicosia few times. I allways drive with my rent-a-car to Nicosia and go by feet to the crossing point at Leda Street.

What I want to know is whether a bus tour to Kyrenia and/or Bellapais can be recommended. It is to dangerous to drive by car because the car hire company doesn't allow that and the insurance doesn't cover own damage claims.

I don't know of any such tours from Limassol, but I do not really have much information about the tourism sector here, I am afraid.
