...karma is a bitch isn't it? Ordinary people living ordinary lives ordinarily. Not some hostage to "two" adversaries, and treated as such, as Cypriots they will return to their lives as Cypriots.

...back to the chicken and the egg, what came first in Cyprus, "Greeks" or "Turks", when in essence it is neither.

Their hatred and grief only highlights the difference between "Them", and the rest of us. Those who love this island as much as ourselves, those who love themselves. Those who are grateful to be alive, and those who resent others' lives. Those who often demonstrate how little they care, and those who try to say little, when it counts.

I choose to keep the Cypriot way, if you will, alive; neither "Greek" or "Turkish", far more complex than that, and far more simple.

This is a forum for discussing topics abt Cyprus . This was an article by a leading Turkish Cypriot academic in a GREEK Cypriot paper .
